A. For Arts Stream:

  1. Candidates seeking admission to B.A. semester I should have passed Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent in Science/Arts stream from any recognized institution with a minimum of 45% marks for unreserved category and 40% marks for ST/SC/ OBC/OBC(MP) /PWD in aggregate.

B. For Science Stream:

  1. Candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. Semester I should have passed Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent in Science stream from any recognized institution with a minimum of 50% marks for unreserved category and 45% marks for ST/SC/ OBC/OBC(MP)/PWD in aggregate.
  2. Candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. Semester I with Honours in Chemistry /Mathematics/Physics must have offered and passed Mathematics in XII Class standard or its equivalent.
  3. Candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. Semester I with Honours in Botany/Zoology/Chemistry must have offered and passed both Chemistry and Biology in XII Class standard or its equivalent.
  4. Candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. Semester I (Regular) in Physical Science viz. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics must have offered and passed Mathematics in XII Class standard or
    its equivalent.
  5. Candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. Semester I (Regular) in Life Science viz. Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Environmental Science must have offered and passed both Chemistry and Biology in XII Class standard or its equivalent.
  6. Candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. Semester I (Regular) in Botany, Zoology and Home Science must have offered and passed both Chemistry and Biology in XII Class standard or its equivalent.

Candidates desirous of applying for more than one stream should submit separate application forms.

Mode of selection: Selection will be purely on Merit based on marks obtained in 10+2 examination.

Reservation will be as per State Government norms. Reservation of candidates belonging to Differently Able Persons (DAPs), Sports Persons of Eminence (National/International Players), and Children of Ex-servicemen shall be on horizontal basis, i.e. their reservation shall be within their original categories.
