NATIONAL CADETS CORPS (NCC):
Under the able leadership of a dynamic Associate NCC Officer, Lt. Dr. Bidyapati Nongthobam, GPWC enjoys enrollment of smart girls in N.C.C. and their active participation in various State and National level ceremonial functions and events. The NCC unit of G.P. Women’s College is under 65 Manipur Girls NCC Bn, Imphal with a strength of 70 cadets.
The objectives of NCC are as follows –
- at developing character, comradeship, discipline, a secular outlook, the spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens.
- at creating a pool of organized, trained and motivated youth with leadership qualities in all walks of life, who will serve the Nation regardless of which
career they choose - at providing an environment conducive to motivating young Indians to join the armed forces.

ACTIVITIES OF NATIONAL CADET CORPS (NCC) –
- Institutional Training, Camp Training, Annual Republic Day Camp, Prime Minister’s Rally, Sports.
- Attachment Training, Social Service and Community Development, Adventure Based Learning.
- Youth Exchange Programme (YEP) – Selected NCC cadets participate in Youth Exchange Programme which is a country to country exchange of cadets belonging to NCC/ equivalent Govt/ youth organizations of friendly countries.
- Deployment of NCC Cadets in Covid-19 Exercise – NCC YOGDAN.
