NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (NSS) :
Under the able leadership of 2 Programme Officers – K. Sanaton Sharma, Associate Profesor, Deparment of Chemistry (Unit 1) and Dr. K. Indrakumar Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science (Unit-2), G.P. Women’s College has 2 (two) NSS Units, of 100 volunteers each, that constantly motivate students to take part in various co-curricular activities such as Social Service Camps, Blood-donation camps and many other camps organized at the State and National levels.

The objectives of NSS are as follows –
- To understand the community in which they work
- To develop among themselves a sense of social work and civic responsibility
- To develop competence required for group living and sharing responsibilities
- To acquire leadership qualities and democratic attitude
- To develop capacity to meet emergencies and natural disasters
- To practice National integration and social harmony
